Gene has 30+ years of hospitality industry experience in culinary arts education leadership, teaching, personal cheffing, and restaurant operations. His education includes a Master’s Degree in Education from WSU, and an Associates Degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Gene and Gretchen also both hold a degree from WSU’s School of Hospitality - GO COUGS! Gretchen has a 30+ year career in sales and customer service within the hospitality industry. Her work history ranges from the lodging industry, regional DMO’s and she is currently the Territory Manager for Southwest Washington for the Washington Hospitality Association. In our home Gene loves to cook for friends and family, Gretchen is the social connection and happily does the dishes.
